Q. How long has Western American been in business?
A. Western American opened its first home center in 1986.
Q. Are you a factory? Do I get factory direct prices?
A. No. We are not a factory, we are a dealer. In Arizona there is no such
thing as "factory direct". If you are buying a manufactured home in Arizona, you are buying
from a dealer. (It's the law.) Furthermore, we will meet or beat any so called
"factory direct" dealer prices.
Q. What brand of manufactured homes do you sell?
A. We are an independent dealer and we offer a wide
selection of homes from Laurel Creek Homes, Patriot Homes, and Clayton Homes. We want you to buy the home you
want to buy, not the home our corporate "big brother" wants you to buy.
Q. Can I customize my home?
A. Absolutely! That's the fun part. Let our sales staff show
you how. Each of our manufacturers offers their own unique signature packages
that will make your home just the way you want it.
Q. Do you sell modular homes?
A. Yes. We offer all sizes and shapes of modular homes that
can be engineered to meet your requirements.
Q. Can you help me get financed?
A. Yes! That's one of the services we provide. Whether it is
FHA, VA, Rural Home, Conventional or Construction, we will find the loan that's
right for you.
Q. What about financing for first-time buyers?
A. First-time buyers are our specialty! We've helped over a
thousand families get into their first homes. Let us do it for you.
Q. How much will my monthly payment be?
A. We don't know. What we do know is that we will
make sure your payment is as low as possible and that it won't adjust several
years from now.
Q. Can you help me find land?
A. Yes we can. We are partnered with Southwest Realty
Investments, a licensed Arizona
real estate brokerage. Southwest Realty is a member of the Multiple Listing
Service of Tucson with access to all of the land listed for sale in the Tucson area.
Q. What is involved in delivery and set up?
A. A lot! But that's our job and we're good at it. Using our
trucks and our set up crews, we are able to quickly and efficiently deliver and
set up your home. There is no confusion over who is responsible for what and
how much extra it's going to cost you.
Q. Will you deliver my home even if I don't buy my home from
you?
A. Yes. We are licensed, bonded and insured to deliver homes
to and from Arizona, Texas,
New Mexico, Colorado,
Nevada, and California.
Q. Will you set up and install my home even if I don't buy
from you?
A. Yes, as long as it is in Arizona. We are licensed, bonded and insured
to set up and install homes in the state of Arizona.
Q. Do your homes have warranties?
A. Yes. All manufactured homes have a one year federally
mandated warranty. Additionally, we can offer you a Ten Year Warranty at a
minimal charge.
